2009 Cherokee Triangle Art Fair
April 25 and April 26, 2009 The Cherokee Triangle Association invites you to apply to participate in the GUIDELINES: All items must be hand-crafted by the exhibitor. Items made using pre-formed molds, kits, or items made by others will not be accepted. If these types of objects are available for sale in your booth, you will either be asked to remove them, or you will be asked to leave the show and forfeit your booth fee. You will be expected to remain for the entire show unless inclement weather forces closure by the Art Fair committee. There will be no refund of the fee if this should happen. Application forms are available online at www.cherokeetriangle.org/ArtApp09.pdf. HOW TO APPLY: The attached application, the $175.00 fee and NO MORE THAN 3 PHOTOGRAPHS (NO SLIDES) of your work, along with a self addressed stamped envelope must be sent to Art Fair at the address on the application. Artists who make soap or similar products should submit an actual sample of their work – photos are insufficient. Applications are due January 15, 2009. All applicants will be reviewed by the Artist Committee and juried by a separate committee of jurors. Approximately 200 exhibitors will be accepted. DO NOT SEND EMAIL ENTRIES. They will be ignored. Notification will be mailed on or about March 1, 2009. Accepted artists’ checks will be cashed at that time. If you are not accepted, your check will be returned at that time. Your photo(s) will NOT be returned. Previous participation does not guarantee acceptance. DISPLAY SPACE: A 10’ x 10’ display space will be provided. AWARDS: Best in Show: one $300.00 cash prize will be awarded to the most outstanding exhibitor of the entire Art Fair. Two $175.00 cash prizes will be awarded for Honorable Mention.
